Issued in 1982, the 'Chivers', an international household name, was chosen to be the fifth livery for the (Y5-4) Talbot van. It was also the first commercial van to feature brass effect metal components.

Livery: (Tampo)
Van sides: 'CHIVERS & SONS LTD.' in green with black surround.
- 'END 1873' in black on black and cream shield.
- 'Jams, Jellies & Marmalades' and 'THE ORCHARD FACTORY, HISTON, CAMBRIDGE' in green.

Variations/Rarities: It had a dark green chassis with a cream body & roof.
No significant variations have been reported although many models have been seen with faultily applied tampo printing.
It could have red or dark red 12 spoke wheels. Whitewall tyres were standard but all issues have seen seen with plain black tyres.

The issue 2 'Chivers' was released in 1982 as part of a Limited Edition set of five models.
